GECO In Peru, a platform for Handling Knowledge for Artisan Mining (GECO) has been developed under the leadership of the Projekt-Consult GmbH team. Progressively, at least in Peru, artisan mining ceases to be an informal, unknown and repressed activity and becomes more integrated with the formal economy. The intention of this Geco site is to make available to the artisan miners and small miners, an information platform to access all types of information that may be useful.
