Advisory Services for the Project Office for Geology, Mining and Metallurgy and Copper Processing Industry
Projekt-Consult supported the long-term efforts of the Uzbek government to establish a new scientific and technological cluster for the production of copper and processed, semi-finished products with high added value in Uzbekistan. In this context, the project team provided strategic advisory services and technical support to the “Project Office for Geology, Mining and Metallurgy and Copper Processing Industry” under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, Projekt-Consult was responsible for providing ongoing support in project management, public procurement, investment promotion, and geo-technical advice, specifically on exploration, mining, and processing of copper, non-ferrous metals, rare earths, and rare metals. Projekt-Consult's engagement significantly contributed to accelerating the sustainable development of the mining sector in Uzbekistan, taking into account environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects.
